Remembering Edward Hird

A minutes silence was observed before both games on Saturday in memory of loyal club supporter over many years both home and away; Edward Hird. Edward passed away peacefully on Thursday 23rd September 2022.

Photo shows both 1st XV and 2nd XV along with Wheatley Hills RUFC and Keighley RUFC and club officials paying our respects to such a wonderful man who will be deeply missed.

Somewhat poignantly Man of the Match for our 1st XV this week was Frankie Brown; fittingly sponsored by Edward Hird.

Teams, officials and supporters of North Ribblesdale Rugby Club send our deepest condolences to Edward’s family and friends during this time.
